U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran had proposed holding a meeting with the American side. The White House chief announced this on the social media platform Truth Social.

According to him, the talks are scheduled to take place on June 30 in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

It should be noted that the U.S. military launched new strikes against Iranian military targets on Saturday, accusing Tehran of yet another attack on ships in the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that if war were to resume, the Islamic Republic “would cease to exist.”
