A modernized ground robotic complex Vepr, designed for logistics and evacuation, has been officially approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

According to the Defense Ministry, the modernized Vepr ground robot system has better tactical and technical characteristics than its first version. It can deliver ammunition or military equipment weighing up to 350 kg to the front line, as well as evacuate 1-2 wounded soldiers from the front simultaneously.

In addition, the new Vepr can be used as a ground attack kamikaze drone and for demining. It can be used to evacuate damaged vehicles and other light equipment from the front line.

The Air Force has been using the Vepr NRC since 2024. It is 136 cm long, 112 cm wide and 138 cm high. It is equipped with two electric motors and batteries. It reaches a maximum speed of 7.5 km/h without load and 4 km/h with load. It has a range of up to 40 km. Vepr is equipped with digital video cameras. Communication can be carried out through several channels, including Starlink.

The advantages of the new "Vepr" should also include the fact that it has a simple control algorithm. This device is easy to operate and maintain. It has a long service life.
