Belarusian Sappers Were Sent To The Kursk Region Of The Russian Federation

Governor of Russia's Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein said that Belarusian sappers are involved in demining the territory of the region, RIA Novosti reports.

Reminder, Ukrainian military launched the Kursk operation on August 6, 2024. For six months, the AFU held the town of Suja, located near Ukraine's border with Russia, and also controlled significant territories of Sujansky, Korenevsky and Glushkovsky districts.

In the spring of 2025, Russian troops were able to regain control over the town of Suja, as well as Sujansky and Korenevsky districts.
