Trump Lashed Out At Congressmen Over Iran Vote

The U.S. president criticized both Democrats and some Republicans.
US President Donald Trump has sharply criticized a House vote to limit his war powers over Iran.
He wrote about it on his social media network Truth Social.
Trump called the vote meaningless and the four Republicans who supported the initiative "unworthy."
He also said the vote took place "in the midst of my final negotiations to end the war with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Who would do such an unpatriotic thing? They know where the negotiations are at."
The U.S. president believes Democrats are driven by "Trump hate syndrome."
"They would rather see our country fail than give me another one of many victories. Regarding the four Republicans, that's a different story: they're just populists! They should be ashamed," Trump wrote.
In late May, the U.S. Senate supported advancing a similar resolution that limits Trump's war powers and requires congressional approval for possible strikes on Iran.
The document stipulates that for any future military action against Iran, the president must get congressional approval.
