After Putin's refusal to meet.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said on Friday, June 5, that he agreed the Security Service of Ukraine new operations.

He said this in his evening video message.

The head of state said that today was the report of the SBU, in particular the report on the results for 2026 on the front and in operations above all.

"SBU warriors - CSO A - number one in defeating the enemy on the front since the beginning of the year. We are defending our state, we are defending our independence. And today agreed to the Security Service of Ukraine new our operations," - said Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president agreed new special operations of the SBU immediately after the refusal of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to meet at the level of leaders.

"He just does not want to end the war. I think a lot of people in the world are disappointed with that answer. He doesn't want to change anything and doesn't want to admit that his war pleases only him and those who pull money from him - they were all very smiling today," Zelensky said in an address on June 5.

On the evening of June 4, the Ukrainian president published an open letter to Putin. In it, he stated that the Russian Federation is suffering serious losses on the front, and the Russians themselves are increasingly dissatisfied with Ukrainian drone attacks, gasoline shortages, constant bans and the like.

Zelensky also stressed that Ukraine proposes to end the war "in a format between you and us," and suggested that Putin meet and set a clear date for this. The Ukrainian president noted that other elected participants could join the bilateral track.
