Exit Polls: Pashinyan's Party Wins Armenian Elections

Voting has ended in Armenia in the parliamentary elections, which are considered one of the most important for the country in recent years. Local media have begun reporting the results of exit polls.
The news.am publication writes that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Pact party, led by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, receives 32.7% of the vote.
Samvel Karapetyan's Samvel Karapetyan's Strong Armenia gains 29% of the vote, Robert Kocharyan's Armenia Bloc gets 13.2%, Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia party gets 6.1%, and Arman Tatoyan's Wings of Unity party gets 4.6%.
The turnout in Armenia's parliamentary elections amounted to 58.97%, the CEC said.
The Civic News online resource reported that the Civil Pact party, led by Pashinyan, received 56.7% of the vote.
More precise voting results should be expected closer to midnight local time (11 p.m. Minsk time).
