The IDF attacked the ayatollah regime's launchers.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Monday, June 8, claimed strikes on Iranian military targets in response to an Iranian ballistic attack on June 7, writes CNN.
The Israeli military said it attacked western and central Iran. Iranian state media reported explosions in Tehran, Tabriz and Isfahan.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says the IDF used "air-launched ballistic missiles."
The Israeli military struck Iranian surface-to-surface missile launchers and infrastructure unrelated to the energy sector, according to Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yehiel Leiter. He said "no self-respecting country in the world would tolerate such an attack," referring to the Iranian missile attack the day before.
On the evening of June 7, Iran attacked Israel with ballistic missiles. This followed an Israeli strike on Hezbollah in Lebanon's capital Beirut on May 28, the first bombardment of an area of the Lebanese capital in three weeks.
