The Governor Of The Kursk Region Called Putin “Volynich”

The Kremlin was quick to correct this oddity.
During a meeting with Vladimir Putin, Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein, while reporting on the situation in the border region, made an unexpected mistake. Addressing the Kremlin leader, the official said “Volynich” instead of the standard first and middle names.
A video clip of this moment was shared by Russian media outlets. The regional governor himself continued his report with a calm demeanor, but the incident has already become a topic of discussion on social media.
Putin’s press service attempted to cover up the media gaffe, and on the Kremlin’s website, the reference was replaced with “Vladimir Vladimirovich.”
Earlier, a Russian minister referred to Putin as “Pal Laić” during a meeting with him.
