Kellogg Assessed Ukraine's Successes In The War With Russia: "I'd Bet On The Ukrainians"

Developments on the front lines could even affect Trump's position.

The balance of power in the war between Ukraine and Russia is gradually shifting. The U.S. believes that recent developments on the front lines indicate that Ukraine has the upper hand for the first time in a long while.

This was reported by TVP World.

Former U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg stated that Kyiv’s successful long-range strikes on Russian oil infrastructure—which have led to fuel shortages, particularly in occupied Crimea, are changing the course of the war.

“For the first time since 2023, you’re seeing that the Ukrainians are really starting to gain the upper hand over the Russians,” he emphasized.

Kellogg added that if he had to make a prediction today about the course of the war, he would bet on Ukraine.

“Today, I would bet more money on the Ukrainians than on the Russians,” he said.

According to Kellogg, the changing situation on the battlefield could also influence the position of U.S. President Donald Trump.

“President Trump loves winners,” he concluded.
