The President of Ukraine warned his country's citizens of a massive attack by Russia tonight.

Russia may launch another massive strike against Ukraine tonight. All Ukrainians should heed air raid alerts.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference with Irish Prime Minister Mícheál Martin.

“Once every week or two, massive strikes—hundreds of drones, dozens of missiles of various types. Today, we have very disturbing information about preparations for yet another such massive Russian strike. We have intelligence data,” said the head of state.

Zelenskyy added that he and his team would return to Ukraine immediately and urged all citizens to heed air raid sirens and take shelter.

“We know that Putin has been preparing this massive strike against Ukraine for some time now. The Russian leader absolutely refuses to end the war,” the head of state emphasized.

The president stated that Ukraine had conveyed its readiness for a meeting and negotiations through “official and unofficial channels,” as well as through people close to the dictator, but Putin “sees only further aggression” against Ukraine and the EU.

“Of course, today and in the coming days, our air defense forces and other soldiers will do everything they can. I have already issued the relevant orders to the military, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the special services, and intelligence agencies, but everyone must understand who we are dealing with and the despicable manner in which the Russian Federation is continuing this war,” Zelenskyy said.

He noted the need to put the aggressor country in a position where there are no alternatives other than peace.
