On the night of Saturday, July 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck 21 Russian tankers, as well as tugboats, dry cargo ships, and other vessels belonging to the aggressor country in the Sea of Azov, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

All of the struck tankers were being used by the Russians to transport oil and petroleum products in circumvention of international sanctions, the General Staff notes.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces also struck four tugboats, two dry cargo ships, and a dredger used by Russia to support military logistics, transport cargo, and maintain port infrastructure operations.

The commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces Robert (“Madyar”) Brovdi reported that drones struck a total of 28 Russian vessels overnight.

Earlier, the governor of Russia’s Rostov Region, Yuri Slyusar, stated that UAVs had attacked four Russian vessels in Taganrog Bay.
