Russian Forces Struck Sumy With KAB Bombs

Four people were killed, and 17 others were injured.

The occupiers dropped three guided aerial bombs (KAB) on civilian infrastructure in the Zarechny district of Sumy, killing four people, according to the latest reports.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration (OVA) Oleg Grigorov on Telegram. “At this time, the deaths of four people as a result of the Russian guided aerial bomb strike on Sumy have been confirmed,” Grigorov said.

In addition, seven more injured people were taken to hospitals. Medical personnel are providing them with the necessary care.

Later, Grigorov reported that the number of casualties from the Russian attack had risen to 17.

As specified by the acting mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar, among the dead is a 13-year-old girl who was at a public transportation stop.

The rescue operation is ongoing. The threat of enemy attacks remains in the city. Residents of Sumy are advised to stay in safe places and avoid areas where strikes have occurred due to the risk of follow-up attacks.
