Because of the speech given by the head of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada in Belgrade.

The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed its dissatisfaction with the Serbian authorities following a speech by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk at a conference of countries seeking to join the European Union, which took place in Belgrade.

A statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Moscow is outraged by the Serbian side’s lack of response to the Ukrainian politician’s speech, which it described as “hostile anti-Russian outbursts.”

Earlier, Stefanchuk delivered a speech at an event in the Serbian capital in which he addressed the issue of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, commenting on the results of the NATO summit in Ankara, which was attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that Moscow allegedly no longer intends to trust the West regarding a possible negotiation process.

According to the Russian minister, “the reserve of goodwill and hope has been completely exhausted.”
