Ukrainian Border Guards: The Situation In Belarus Could Change At Any Moment

Kyiv is fortifying its border.

As of today, Ukrainian border guards have not detected any signs of a Russian strike force being assembled on Belarusian territory. The threat of an offensive from Belarus is currently minimal.

This was reported on the “Den.LIVE” broadcast by the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko, according to TSN.

At the same time, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service emphasized that Belarus remains under Russia’s influence, so the situation could change at any moment. According to Demchenko, Russia expects Belarus to become more involved in the war, but Lukashenko is aware of the possible consequences.

That is precisely why Ukraine is continuously strengthening its defensive lines along the entire length of the Belarusian border.

Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that Russia may view Belarusian territory as a means of escalating attacks on Ukraine.
