These are the "Druzhba," "Sokol," "Mayak," and "Morskoy" vacation resorts.

Ukrainian defense forces carried out airstrikes on positions held by Russian occupation forces on the Arabat Spit. The attack targeted health resorts and tourist camps where Russian military personnel were stationed, according to the monitoring group “Crimean Wind”.

Citing satellite imagery, the group stated that fires were detected on the grounds of at least four sanatoriums and vacation resorts on the Arabat Spit. These include the “Druzhba,” “Sokol,” “Mayak,” and “Morskoy.”

On the night of July 17, Ukrainian forces attacked not only facilities on the Arabat Spit but also a number of targets in annexed Crimea. Explosions on the peninsula were heard near the Russian airbase close to the village of Gvardeyskoye, near Feodosia—where an oil depot is located—as well as not far from the village of Koktebel.

The largest number of explosions was recorded in the Kerch area. According to local residents, drones attacked the area around the railway station—one of the Russian occupiers’ key logistics hubs in Crimea. According to preliminary data, strikes hit train convoys, warehouses, and the oil depot.

As a reminder, since May of this year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been conducting an operation to blockade Crimea. Initially, the Armed Forces used drones to cut off the “land corridor” from Russia and disabled land bridges to the peninsula. In late June, the Ukrainian military began restricting maritime supplies as well, striking Russian ships and ferries in the Sea of Azov.
