The U.S. military attacked Iranian military targets for nearly the entire night.
The U.S. Armed Forces have completed their seventh consecutive series of nighttime strikes on Iranian territory, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported on X.
The U.S. military launched the seventh wave of strikes at 10:00 p.m. Minsk time on July 17. It ended at 4:30 a.m. Minsk time on July 18, the command specified.
“CENTCOM struck surveillance targets, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons depots, and naval forces. The U.S. military deployed fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles, and warships, as well as other assets,” the statement said.
Central Command “continues to hold Iran accountable” at the direction of the Commander-in-Chief—U.S. President Donald Trump—while simultaneously “enforcing a complete naval blockade of Iranian ports,” CENTCOM reports.
“More than 50,000 U.S. service members are deployed throughout the Middle East and remain vigilant, combat-ready, and prepared for action,” the statement notes.
