In Six Days, The Ukrainian Armed Forces Destroyed And Damaged One-tenth Of Wildberries' Facilities In Russia

From July 18 through July 23, the Ukrainian Defense Forces put out of commission approximately 8% of the Wildberries marketplace’s warehouse facilities in Russia, which were being used to serve the interests of the Russian military-industrial complex. As of now, Ukrainian drones have almost completely destroyed Wildberries’ logistics centers in Elektrostal (250,000 square meters), Krasnodar (150,000 square meters), and Nevinnomyssk (120,000 square meters), and have also damaged facilities in Kotovsk (100,000 square meters) and Voronezh (100,000 square meters).
Russian media estimate that restoring the above-mentioned warehouse complexes could cost Wildberries 35.5 billion rubles or more, depending on the extent of damage to the facility in Voronezh.
The governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev confirmed “damage to the roof of a warehouse belonging to one of the marketplaces” in the suburbs of Voronezh, but did not specify its name.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun striking Wildberries’ warehouse complexes in Russia because they are being used to supply the Russian military-industrial complex.
For example, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a facility in Elektrostal in the Moscow Region was receiving sanctioned components for UAVs and navigation equipment.
As a result, Wildberries is a legitimate target for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. By striking Wildberries’ warehouses, Ukraine has further intensified the pressure on Russia’s economy.
Total losses for sellers following the strikes on the company’s warehouses in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk could amount to 120 billion rubles.
