Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the United States, where he is scheduled to have a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled, and he outlined the main topic of the talks.

The main topic of the talks is air defense

“I’m already in the United States. On the agenda are meetings with President Trump, his team, and those who can support our defense. The number one priority is anti-ballistic defense and strategic cooperation with the U.S.,” Zelenskyy wrote.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that strengthening air defense and closer cooperation with the U.S. are currently the top priorities of the trip.

Honoring the Memory of Senator Lindsey Graham

“Of course, on behalf of all of Ukraine, we will honor the memory of Lindsey Graham and, together with everyone at the ceremony in Washington, we will remember his efforts for security and freedom in the Euro-Atlantic region and other parts of the world,” the President of Ukraine noted.

CNN reports that during the meeting, Trump will focus on the current peace process regarding Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham, a supporter of Ukraine, will also take place there.

As a reminder, it was announced just yesterday that all 100 U.S. senators all 100 U.S. senators had been invited.

The occasion was the Senate’s consideration of a package of “hellish sanctions” against Russia, which the late Senator Lindsey Graham had previously championed.
