During a meeting with the commanders of the Russian Federation’s naval fleets, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin asked them what Russia would do after the end of the “special military operation,” but none of those present answered him. This was reported by Dialog.UA after monitoring Russian media.

The commanders of the Russian Navy’s Pacific, Northern, Baltic, and Black Sea Fleets, as well as the Caspian Flotilla, were summoned to a meeting with Putin.

The Kremlin leader demanded that they “resolutely” counter attempts by Western countries to seize tankers belonging to Russia’s “shadow fleet.”

Putin, smiling cynically, stated that the “special military operation” (as Russian propaganda refers to the war against Ukraine—Ed.) “will end sooner or later.” He asked the fleet commanders, “What will we (that is, Russia—Ed.) do after the ‘Special Military Operation’? None of those present answered the question. And complete silence fell over the room.

The Russian dictator himself did not answer his own question, but merely smiled sardonically again and looked around. “What will we do when the ‘special military operation’ ends? And it will end sooner or later. We need to maintain a sense of unity. I meet with some people who are helping you (that is, the Russian occupation army—Ed.) behind the lines, doing their work. Women are knitting scarves, children are knitting mittens, and so on. People are doing this from the bottom of their hearts,” Putin said.
