Zelenskyy Revealed Details Of His Meeting With Trump

The President of Ukraine called the meeting “good.”

The presidents of Ukraine and the United States, during the course of a meeting discussed the production of interceptors for the Patriot air defense system, the revitalization of the negotiation process, and other matters.

This was reported by Charter97.org citing a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“A good meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office. Thank you for everything we’re doing together to protect the lives of Ukrainians and achieve peace,” the head of state said.

He added that he expressed his condolences to the U.S. president on the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, noting that he “was a true friend of Ukraine.”

“We discussed with the president licenses to manufacture interceptors for the Patriot system and some other ideas that could help. We also talked about diplomacy—it’s important to intensify the diplomatic process,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
The head of state said that teams from Ukraine and the U.S. will coordinate the details of further communication.
