One Of Wildberries' Largest Warehouses Burned Down In Ryazan Following A Drone Attack

Russia's largest oil refinery has also been hit.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces completely destroyed the Wildberries warehouse and attacked the oil refinery in Ryazan. A massive fire broke out at the logistics center, and the plant began urgently relieving pressure in the system.

This was reported by Ukrainian public figure and volunteer Sergey Sternenko. According to him, local authorities claimed that only drone debris had fallen on both facilities. However, videos circulating online suggest otherwise.

The head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation Petro Andriushchenko noted that the Wildberries warehouse in Ryazan is the fourth-largest in the aggressor country of Russia and was opened quite recently—in 2023–2024.

According to Astra, residents of Ryazan wrote online that sirens went off several times during the night and there were many explosions. It later became known that the Wildberries warehouse in the “Ryazansky” industrial park near the village of Tyushevo had come under attack. Footage showing thick smoke has been posted online; it is clear that the fire engulfed a vast area. More recent videos also show that the warehouse’s roof has collapsed.

Shortly after the attack, Wildberries announced that access to its warehouse in Ryazan would be restricted.

“Access to the ‘Ryazan: Tyushevskaya’ sorting complex is temporarily restricted. Please do not come to the warehouse for now. We will provide further updates once operations have resumed,” Wildberries stated on its official website.

Later, the company announced the evacuation of the facility “for safety reasons.”

In addition, the Ryazan Oil Refinery was also attacked, and smoke is rising above the plant’s grounds. The plant is part of PJSC Rosneft and is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia. The refinery has been targeted by Ukrainian attacks on multiple occasions in the past.
