A Z-blogger revealed the future of occupied Crimea.
The situation in occupied Crimea is rapidly deteriorating: there is no gasoline, food supplies are becoming intermittent, and businesses are going bankrupt. A social explosion is brewing on the peninsula. Russian Z-blogger Alexander Gorny spoke candidly about this, as reported by “Dialog”. Gorny made a forecast about what lies ahead for Crimea in the coming month. He expects the situation to worsen. “The fuel situation will worsen, despite the fact that fuel has begun to be sold at 200–350 ₽/liter.
Supply and distribution chains will break down; some people will be unable to get to work, and many will be laid off or placed on unpaid leave. There will be a wave of bankruptcies and financial ruin among tourism infrastructure facilities and businesses. Inflation will continue to rise, and the range of goods available will shrink, leading to a decline in quality of life amid falling consumer demand due to citizens’ lack of money,” Gorny wrote.
Z-Patriot believes that a social uprising will erupt in Crimea, which the Kremlin will suppress using force. “Open discontent among citizens will begin, requiring either the imposition of external administration or the use of force. The situation will be particularly difficult in the fall if the crisis does not stabilize, when people’s reserves of resources run out and winter is approaching,” Gorny said.
He noted that if the Kremlin fails to resolve the issue with Ukraine, his forecast “will seem like child’s play.”
