Ukrainian paratroopers have revealed the impact of mid-range strikes on the situation at the front.

The Ukrainian military is stepping up attacks on the enemy’s rear. Ukrainian forces are already successfully striking enemy targets up to 100 kilometers deep.

This was reported in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, the commander of the 7th Airborne Corps, Brigadier General Yevhen Lasiychuk.

According to him, Ukrainian defenders are already actively using medium-range drones (middle-strike).

“Let’s take today’s ‘mid-strike’ and ‘deep-strike’ attacks as an example: Moscow is on fire—that’s a good thing! As for our corps’ composition and the corps itself, our weapon of choice is the ‘mid-strike.’ It is standard issue; we are already using it,” said Lasiychuk.

The general noted that the mid-strike is already the present and future of the Ukrainian armed forces. He suggested that with each passing day, this system will only expand and be integrated into every unit.

Increasing strike depth

“What does it allow us to do? It allows us to detect and destroy more of the enemy in the rear, at certain distances deep within their lines. We’re trying to block all their advance routes leading to Pokrovsk and Mirnograd; we’re keeping them completely under control,” said the commander of the 7th Corps of the DSHU.

According to Lasiychuk, Ukraine is increasing its strike depth and is already capable of reaching about 100 kilometers deep from the front line. Strikes are being directed at enemy command posts, areas, and troop concentrations.

The exact types and names of the drones that Ukrainian forces are using to strike deep into enemy territory are not being disclosed. As the general noted, the military “has its own little secrets” regarding this weaponry.
