Russia Launched A Massive Attack On Ukraine Using Cruise And Ballistic Missiles

On the night of July 30, Russia carried out yet another missile attack on Ukraine. At least seven strategic aircraft were detected in the aggressor country’s airspace, from which cruise missiles were launched. In addition, the enemy struck Ukraine with ballistic missiles, “Zircons,” “Kalibrs,” and attack UAVs.
For the first time after a long hiatus, the enemy attacked Ukraine’s western regions. Strikes were also carried out against Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kryvyi Rih, and other Ukrainian cities. OBOZ.UA reports on what is known about the consequences of the latest Russian terrorist attack.
According to another monitoring resource, the Telegram channel “monitoring zahid,” potential enemy targets included facilities in Ukraine’s western regions. These include the Lviv, Ternopil, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions and their regional capitals.
Strikes on Kyiv
Russian occupiers struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles. A series of explosions rocked the capital, followed by fires. At least one person is known to have died as a result of the enemy attack.
The Ukrainian Air Force began reporting on enemy targets at 1:07 a.m. Monitoring channels clarified that these were specifically ballistic missiles launched from the Bryansk region.
Following the attack, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that a fire broke out in a non-residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district as a result of falling debris. In addition, a fire broke out in a garage cooperative in that district.
A fire also broke out on the grounds of a non-residential complex in the Obolon district. The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that, as of 2:55 a.m., one fatality had been confirmed.
The Aftermath of the Terror Attack in Lviv
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported that a series of explosions rocked the city on the night of July 30. According to city authorities, damage to residential buildings has been reported.
Sadovyi later clarified that following the rocket attack in Lviv, residential buildings on Paton and Vyhovsky Streets are on fire. Rescue operations are ongoing. All necessary emergency services are on the scene.
According to preliminary reports, as of 5:50 a.m., six people are known to have been injured as a result of enemy shelling at two locations in the city.
By around 7:00 a.m., the number of people injured in the rocket attack on Lviv had risen to 15, 14 of whom were hospitalized.
According to the State Emergency Service, 8 people were injured and 7 were rescued in Lviv as a result of the rocket strike. Several strikes were recorded in the city. Two high-rise residential buildings and non-residential structures were damaged.
Fires broke out at the impact sites. State Emergency Service units are extinguishing the fires and dealing with the aftermath of the attack. All emergency services are on the scene.
Murder of Children Near Kryvyi Rih
Russian terrorists carried out a targeted missile strike on a residential building in a suburb of Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the attack, the Russians killed three children and three adults.
According to authorities, six people were killed, including three children—a 6-year-old girl and two boys aged 11 and 17. Eight people were injured. An 84-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition. A 49-year-old woman and two boys, ages 6 and 15, were taken to the hospital in moderate condition. The rest will receive outpatient treatment.
The emergency rescue operation is ongoing, and the rubble is being cleared. Local authorities warn that the death toll may rise. The injured are receiving all necessary medical care.
According to the State Emergency Service, two private homes were completely destroyed and five others were damaged as a result of the missile strike. Several fires broke out, which rescue workers have already extinguished.
There may be five more people trapped under the rubble. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
Shelling of the Mykolaiv Region
Throughout the night and on the morning of July 30, the enemy carried out a combined attack on the Mykolaiv region using Shahed-type strike UAVs, “Molniya,” and “Banderole” UAVs.
During the airstrikes, air defense forces and systems destroyed a significant portion of the enemy’s aerial targets. At the same time, isolated hits and falling debris were recorded.
In Mykolaiv, port infrastructure came under attack starting in the morning. Storage facilities and the roof of an apartment building were damaged. There are no reported casualties at this time.
In the Bashtanka district, two storage facilities were damaged as a result of combat operations and falling debris. The enemy also attacked the Snigirevska community four times. There, three private homes, an ambulance, and an administrative building were damaged; there were no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv district, the enemy launched five attacks using FPV drones, as well as two attacks using “Molniya”-type UAVs. As a result of the attacks, three private homes were damaged in the village of Dmitrovka. In addition, the enemy attacked the Stepovskaya community with a “Banderole” UAV. This resulted in damage to a tractor; there were no casualties.
