It is believed that it was a Russian missile.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that he had convened a coordination group in connection with violation of Poland’s airspace during Russia’s massive missile strike on Ukraine.
He wrote about this on the social network X.
“During Russia’s massive missile strike on western Ukraine, Poland’s airspace was violated. In light of this, I have convened a coordination group involving the Minister of Defense and the relevant agencies, who have been working at the scene for many hours and are systematically providing me with information on all the circumstances of the incident,” Donald Tusk said.
Earlier, the Polish Prime Minister’s Office announced that Donald Tusk’s visit to the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, scheduled for Thursday morning, had been canceled.
According to WP, the Polish government is inclined to believe that a Russian missile struck the Lublin Voivodeship overnight, near the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia.
The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported on the morning of July 30 that overnight, amid a Russian airstrike on Ukraine, an unidentified object entered the country’s airspace and subsequently disappeared from radar.
Local residents of the Lublin Voivodeship reported explosions and a crater in a field, and air raid sirens sounded throughout the voivodeship, in eastern Poland.
