"ATESH": Putin Is Preparing A Large-Scale Purge In Crimea

Aksenov may be the first to come under fire from the Kremlin.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin plans to remove Sergey Aksyonov, the Gauleiter of the temporarily occupied Crimea, from office. A replacement has already been named.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of the “ATESH” partisan movement.
Insiders from the “ATESH” partisan movement within the peninsula’s occupation administration have learned of the Kremlin’s new plans.
According to them, Putin plans to remove Aksyonov, despite the fact that he has held the position for over 12 years.
“It is precisely him whom they plan to hold fully responsible for looming humanitarian catastrophe and failures in providing for Crimea,” the partisans stated.
In this way, the Kremlin leader hopes to reduce social tensions and curb the local population’s growing dissatisfaction with the authorities.
According to the partisans, Putin is counting on a large-scale purge to help him deal with the current situation.
“ATESH” believes that the Russian dictator plans to resort to the classic “good tsar, bad boyar” scheme.
“Realizing that his position is shaky, Aksyonov has panicked. He has now launched a frantic but pointless charade: publicly berating subordinates and openly threatening local ‘deputies’ in an attempt to present Moscow with an image of total control and a ‘firm hand,’ — according to “ATESH.”
According to the activists, Aksenov’s dismissal is expected to take place immediately after the September “elections.”
Who Could Replace Aksyonov in Crimea
“ATESH” emphasized that the list of candidates for this position is currently very short.
According to the movement, Putin is leaning toward appointing the so-called “Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea,” Alexei Dmitriev.
The Kremlin allegedly wants to put a security official in charge of the peninsula who will be able to suppress growing discontent.
At the same time, it cannot be ruled out that Putin might choose one of the military commanders as part of his own “Time of Heroes” program.
