The England national team defeated Mexico in the Round of 16 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The match took place in Mexico City and ended with a 3–2 victory for England. For the winners, Jude Bellingham scored twice, and Harry Kane added a goal from the penalty spot. For Mexico, Julian Quinoñez and Raúl Jiménez scored, with the latter finding the back of the net from the penalty spot.

England defender Jarrell Quansa received a red card for a foul on Mexican midfielder Jesús Gallardo in the 52nd minute of the match.
