The Formula For Ukraine's Ultimate Victory

  • 8.07.2026, 8:37

Putin has written the script for his own defeat.

It has long been observed that Russian aggressors live in a parallel world that they create themselves and then come to believe in.

When they put forward demands to end the war, they are, first and foremost, thinking within the framework of their own paradigm. Therefore, it is actually possible to identify the key conditions for ending the war based on the enemy’s logic. Take their demands, “flip” them from the perspective of Ukraine’s goals and actions—and you’ll arrive at the key conditions for victory.

The root causes of the war from the aggressor’s perspective:

preventing Ukraine’s NATO membership. Consequently, a clear signal and concrete steps toward Ukraine’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization—and the irreversibility of this process—are necessary;

preventing Ukraine’s integration with the countries of the European Union. Consequently—EU membership and decisive steps toward reform in Ukraine to ensure the accession process proceeds as quickly as possible;

claims to “historical Russian lands,” including the sacred cities of Sevastopol and Crimea. It is essential to prevent the adoption of legal decisions recognizing the annexation of Crimea as illegal;

to nullify its function as a “Russian aircraft carrier that cannot be sunk,” and ultimately to demonstrate the obvious: the peninsula cannot exist without a connection to the mainland; The Autonomous Republic of Crimea can develop successfully only as part of Ukraine and, subsequently, the European Union.

Demilitarization—forcing Ukraine and its partners to strip Ukraine of its self-defense capabilities through disarmament, restrictions, and so-called “permanent neutrality.”

What needs to be done? Deprive the Russian invaders of their offensive capabilities: destroy their troops faster than they can replenish them; establish a balance in military hardware and gain an advantage through advanced robotic systems utilizing artificial intelligence.

Prevent Ukraine from acquiring deterrent weapons. On the contrary, we must do everything possible to create a “missile shield and sword.” It is obvious that this cannot be achieved without producing our own systems and interceptor missiles, as well as without expanding our arsenal of medium- and short-range ballistic missiles…

You can continue this list (after all, theirs is constantly changing); flip it upside down—and that will be the formula for victory. But at the end of the Russian list, it will still read: destroy our country and the people of Ukraine…

Therefore, there is only one formula for ultimate victory in this existential confrontation: the destruction of the Russian regime, stripping Russian expansionists of any desire to seize anything else, and—if they do not change—the collapse of this aggressive federation.

That is, if we look at it realistically. But the scenarios—as well as the timeframe of the confrontation, its intensity, and the position and role of global players—may vary.
