Ukraine and Russia cannot be equated.

We need to reiterate this once again for all these Kynes, Galamins, and others who are trying to push the idea that there is even the slightest moral symmetry between Russia and Ukraine.

Ukraine is not deliberately striking Russian civilian infrastructure. I am not aware of a single instance where Ukraine has purposefully targeted civilian facilities. If Ukraine wanted to, it could litter Moscow with corpses. It has enormous opportunities to kill Russians—especially given that Russian air defense systems are focused on protecting the dictator.

Russia, on the other hand, is deliberately killing civilians. Not only can there be no equivalence between Russia and Ukraine—there is simply no room for comparison here. These are countries living today in completely different realities. Russia is a fascist dictatorship, a country of medieval barbarism that recognizes neither law nor morality. Ukraine is a country that, in the midst of a monstrous war and under constant attack, is still trying to follow the rules.

And that is why any voice from Russia that attempts to blur this obvious line is, objectively speaking, working for Putin. When, under a totalitarian fascist dictatorship, someone from within that system tries to equate the aggressor with its victim, one must understand the obvious: if a person in Russia can make certain statements and still remain free, it means that someone wants them to. In a dictatorship of this magnitude, opposition cannot exist by definition. Everything that exists there today serves only to play into the Kremlin’s hands and justify its crimes.
