Ukraine Bombed Four Bridges In The Belgorod Region

The occupying forces have lost key supply routes.

On July 7, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck bridges in the Valuy District of the Belgorod Region that were being used to supply Russian troops in the Kharkiv sector. According to “Pepla”, a missile destroyed the bridge over the Uraeva River in Kolykhalino—the road leading to border settlements, including Urazovo, Dvuluchnoe, and Zherdevka, ran across it. A video of the destruction has appeared online. The Russian army used this route to resupply its forces near Kupyansk via the “Logachevka” road checkpoint.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces also struck the bridge between Urazovo and the village of Dvuluchnoe, 8 kilometers south of the destroyed crossing in Kolykhalino. Against this backdrop, the Belgorod Region Ministry of Transport has imposed traffic restrictions. “For safety reasons,” from July 7 through August 5, traffic will be suspended on two sections of the Valuiki–Urazovo–Logachevka road: near the exit from Shelaevo and the exit from Urazovo. Meanwhile, the Z-Channel “Veteran’s Notes” reported that on July 7 alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces “destroyed” four bridges in the Valuyki District “using guided aerial bombs.” It is not specified exactly which crossings were targeted. “Obviously, the enemy is trying to disrupt the logistics of our units, which are currently actively conducting offensive operations in the Kharkiv region,” added the author of the post.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed or severely damaged more than 10 bridges in Russian-occupied territories. The targets were facilities through which the Russian Federation’s army transports personnel, weapons, and ammunition, the Ukrainian General Staff noted.
