Russia Launched A Brutal Ballistic Missile Attack On Kyiv: Many Dead And Wounded

Ambulances, residential buildings, and a film studio were on fire.
On the night of Saturday, August 1, Russia, the aggressor nation, launched yet another massive missile attack on Kyiv. A series of explosions rocked the capital. Nine people are known to have been killed, and at least 28 were injured, according to OBOZ.UA.
The Ukrainian Air Force began reporting enemy targets at 1:32 a.m. The Russians launched ballistic missiles at Kyiv, as well as, according to monitoring channels, several “Zircons.”
It should be noted that prior to the missile attack, the enemy sent jet-powered UAVs toward the capital and the surrounding region. After the ballistic missile salvos, they flew toward the city again.
Consequences of the shelling
As of 3:36 a.m., four people were reported dead and 15 wounded, including a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old boy. All of the injured have been hospitalized; one of them is in serious condition.
By 6 a.m., the death toll had risen to nine, with 23 people injured.
As of 6:43 a.m., the State Emergency Service reported 27 injured and 105 people rescued.
At 7:43 a.m., Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the deaths of nine people and reported that the number of injured had risen to 28. Among the injured were, in particular, four children. At the time of this report, 17 Kyiv residents were in hospitals.
The Kyiv City State Administration reported that a fire broke out in a 6-story building in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district as a result of the attack. Cars in the parking lot are also on fire.
In addition, people were trapped in a five-story building in the Solomensky district after rocket debris fell on it. A fire broke out in the courtyard of a residential building.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a car wash caught fire as a result of the attack. In the same district, people are trapped in a residential building, where partial damage occurred on the first and second floors.
According to the State Emergency Service, ambulances were also on fire, and a fire broke out at a film studio; by 6 a.m., it had been contained. One injured person was found at one of the addresses.
In the Darnytskyi district, a fire caused damage to an administrative building and a non-residential building. At another location, cars were on fire and homes were damaged.
As of 6 a.m., it was reported that 7 people had died in the district, and another 14 were injured, including 2 children.
Rescue workers extinguished the fires. A crater was also discovered in an open area in one of the parks. The roadside is on fire in several places along one street.
A store was damaged in the Dniprovskyi district.
In the Pecherskyi district, four private residential homes and outbuildings were damaged.
