There is no fuel for the mower.

Russian Z-blogger Ivan Otrakovsky reported serious problems in the Russian agricultural sector due to a shortage of diesel fuel. According to him, farmers in several regions are forced to borrow fuel from one another in order to finish the harvest.

Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky drew attention to this, emphasizing the cost to Russia of its senseless and criminal war against Ukraine.

Otrakovsky cites the chairman of the Council of the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives of the Rostov Region, Alexey Zhdanov, who stated that many farms are already preparing to sell wheat at cost, and some enterprises lack the funds even for the next planting season.

According to the blogger, a similar situation is being observed in other regions of Russia. He warns that many small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises could go bankrupt, which in the long run will lead to a reduction in the supply of food products, a decline in their quality, and further price increases.
