An FPV drone carrying explosives crashed into the wing of a Ukrainian An-124 “Ruslan” aircraft, striking it precisely where the fuel tanks are located. This means that incident at Leipzig Airport was a targeted attack, not just a “warning.”

Journalists have learned that the drone struck the wing of a Ukrainian cargo plane.

The impact hit the most vulnerable part of the wing—where the fuel tanks are located. However, for unknown reasons, the explosive device did not detonate.

Furthermore, it is reported that the drone was loaded with Semtex plastic explosive.

It was discovered four hours after the attack—a tour bus driver accidentally spotted the device on the ground, stepped on it, and notified security.
