Zelenskyy Announced New Long-range Operations Against Russia

Ukraine has revised some of its plans and approved new ones.

Some of the long-range operations against Russia have been adjusted, while Ukraine has approved new strikes against enemy targets on Russian territory.

This was reported by Telegram of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

During a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Skibuk, and Acting Minister of Defense Yevhen Khmara, Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the implementation of the plan for long-range operations against Russia.

“We discussed in detail the implementation of the plan for long-range operations against Russia, as well as our precision strikes. Some operations were adjusted, and new operations were approved,” the statement said.

According to the president, Ukraine’s long-range capabilities remain one of the most important tools in the confrontation with Russia.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the precision of such operations allows Ukraine to prevent the enemy from seizing the initiative in the war and creates conditions for the possible advancement of diplomatic solutions.

The president also thanked the military personnel who carry out these long-range operations. In particular, he singled out the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, the missile forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, and Ukrainian intelligence agencies.

Separately, during the meeting, they discussed the situation on the front lines and the reinforcement of key sectors, particularly in the Donetsk region.

Personnel proposals for the army were also discussed.

“Some decisions have already been prepared, and more will follow,” Zelenskyy noted.

In addition, significant attention was paid to air defense and the protection of frontline and border communities, regional centers, and Kyiv from Russian strikes. Zelenskyy emphasized that strengthening air defense must remain a priority for countries that can assist Ukraine.
