Zelenskyy Spoke About Putin's Plans For The Fall

The President of Ukraine shared information from a report by the Main Intelligence Directorate.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense confirms that Russia is preparing for a mobilization this fall. It is scheduled to take place after the sham parliamentary elections.
This was stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an evening video address on Tuesday, August 11.
“There was a report from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense—Oleg Ivashchenko—on preparations for Russian mobilization. Everything is confirmed by internal Russian documents: they are preparing it for the fall, right after the mock parliamentary elections,” the head of state noted.
The president says that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s plan isn’t particularly complicated: he wants to make it appear as though Russians support the war. Zelenskyy noted that all parties currently eligible to run in the elections are, in one way or another, opposed to peace.
“And then, after the so-called elections, there are plans for an additional rapid mobilization of several hundred thousand Russians by the end of the year, plus the same number again next year. This is in addition to the recruitment drive they’re trying to carry out under contracts,” he said.

The head of state claims that the Russian contingent’s monthly losses on Ukrainian territory amount to at least 30,000 people, 60% of whom are killed. Zelenskyy noted that the total strength of the Russian occupation army has been gradually decreasing thanks to the active operations of the Defense Forces and, above all, the use of drones.
Currently, according to the President of Ukraine, Putin believes that additional mobilization and the recruitment of troops from North Korea will allow him to prolong the war and intensify Russian offensive operations.
“We are preparing for our own active operations, aimed at making it as difficult as possible for Russia to carry out such plans. I have set the corresponding tasks for our intelligence agencies and special services,” the Ukrainian president added.
