An Unconventional Off-road Convertible Motorhome For Two Has Been Built In Germany

German motorhome manufacturer Laske Expedition has unveiled its new Turtle E410 model. It is designed for off-road use and is convertible.

The Laske Turtle E410 motorhome was unveiled at the off-road show in Bad Kissingen, and sales will begin shortly at a starting price of 345,000 euros. This was reported on the website Autoevolution.

The new model is based on the Iveco Daily 4x4 all-wheel-drive truck chassis with a gross vehicle weight of 5.5 metric tons. The 6.6-meter motorhome is equipped with a 180-horsepower turbo-diesel engine, an automatic transmission, and three differential locks, as well as high ground clearance and off-road tires.

The new Laske Turtle E410 features a two-person living module made of sandwich panels, which provides good thermal insulation. It is convertible: its roof lifts up (increasing the height from 2.15 to 2.6 m), and sections extend from the sides where you can install a sink, a portable kitchen, or a barbecue set.

The motorhome is designed for two people. Inside, there is a wide bed and a dining table with chairs, as well as plenty of cabinets and shelves of various sizes.

The kitchen has space for a gas stove with an oven, a sink, a refrigerator, and a microwave. A full bathroom is located at the front of the living module.

The Laske E410 motorhome is equipped with a 400 Ah lithium battery and solar panels on the roof. It also features an autonomous diesel heater, a 200-liter water tank, and an 80-liter waste tank.
