Media: Lukashenko's Personal Physician Becomes Owner Of A Chain Of Pharmacies

Her phone was spotted at “Change Square” on the day Roman Bondarenko was killed.
Alexander Lukashenko’s personal physician Elena Kazak is building her own business empire in the medical field. The doctor has become the owner of a chain of pharmacies in Belarus, according to “Bureau.”
As a reminder, in 2020 she was identified among those who cut off the BCHB ribbons alongside Dmitry Baskov and others in Minsk courtyards on November 11, 2020. Her phone was spotted at “Square of Change” on the day of Roman Bondarenko’s death.
As “Bureau” has learned, in August 2024, the company “Ligmaton,” previously owned by Georgy Topuzidis and his mother Galina Petrovich, was re-registered under Elena Kazak. Thanks to the “Cyber Partisans,” journalists were able to determine that Lukashenko’s personal physician had been employed by the company since July 2024.
Georgy Topuzidis is the son of a major Belarusian businessman and Lukashenko’s “financier,” Pavel Topuzidis.
Pavel Topuzidis, together with his business partner Viktor Petrovich, controls “Tabak-Invest,” develops the “Korona” chain of shopping centers and hypermarkets, and is also involved in tobacco production and other major business assets in Belarus.
Initially, the new owner was listed in the company’s records as Elena Vladimirovna Kazak. We do not know whether this was done intentionally or by mistake, but her patronymic was later changed. Sometime between February 2025 and August 2026, Elena Kazak’s patronymic changed from “Vladimirovna” to “Georgievna.” However, no record of structural changes to the company was filed, and according to the current extract, it is Lukashenko’s personal physician who has owned the “Ligmaton” pharmacies since August 2024. Galina Petrovich, the mother of Georgy Topuzidis, remains the company’s director, as before.
“Ligmaton” owns a network of pharmacies throughout Belarus and also participates in government tenders for the supply of various medications. The company’s revenue in 2025 amounted to 83.6 million rubles, and its net profit was 2.79 million.
Earlier, “Bureau” learned that another of Alexander Lukashenko’s favorites is connected to the company “Ligmaton.” Since July 2024, Maria Vasilevich, a former “deputy,” has been listed there as a leading specialist in commercial operations.
Who is Elena Kazak?
Intensive care physician Elena Kazak has accompanied Lukashenko on his trips since 2016. As previously reported by “The Bureau,” the documents give the impression that she does this on a volunteer basis. According to data from the Social Security Fund, Kazak was listed at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center (RNPC) “Cardiology” from 2014 to 2019, and in 2019, her average taxable salary was only about 110 rubles, or $52. And in 2020–2021, she appeared to have earned nothing and, accordingly, made no tax payments.
Elena Kazak found herself in the media spotlight in 2020. At that time, she was repeatedly spotted in the company of Lukashenko’s inner circle—Natalia Eismont and Dmitry Baskov. Together, they went on raids through courtyards and cut down the white-red-white ribbons.
Elena Kazak was identified as one of those who cut down the BCHB ribbons alongside Dmitry Baskov and others in Minsk courtyards on November 11, 2020. As a reminder, that evening, unknown individuals who had come to a stranger’s courtyard to cut down the white-red-white ribbons seized 31-year-old Roman Bondarenko. Later, his relatives found him in the hospital, where he died from severe injuries without ever regaining consciousness. Kazak herself told a reporter at the time that she “hadn’t been anywhere.” However, her phone was spotted at “Square of Change” on the day of Roman Bondarenko’s murder.
In 2022, Kazak transferred to the 6th Clinical Hospital, where she began receiving an official monthly salary averaging 500–600 rubles, or about $200. In late 2023, the Motolko.help project reported that Elena Kazak accompanied Lukashenko to the climate summit in Dubai.
In late 2023, Lukashenko’s intensive care physician ventured into business and took the position of director of the “Iris” beauty and health center. It is owned by Montpart LLC, and prior to Elena Kazak, the director of the organization was the sister of another of Lukashenko’s personal physicians—Svetlana Konoshenko—Natalya Kizik.
In March 2024, Elena Kazak—now a businesswoman—was spotted alongside Lukashenko during his visit to the “Alina-2024” charity festival in Minsk. In the fall, Kazak, accompanied by Eismont and Baskova, saw off Marina Vasilevskaya as she was launched into space from Baikonur.
