The woman was interrogated and, apparently, has already confessed to carrying out the sabotage on behalf of Ukraine.
Russian journalists did not name the detainee or provide any other details about the incident in Russia. The security services have not yet released the name of the deceased, stating only that he was a “serviceman of the Russian Ministry of Defense.” Media outlets opposed to the Kremlin claim that he was Robert Shageev, a former captain of the submarine “Zaporizhzhia” who defected to the Russian side.

During questioning, Margarita has already confessed to the crime and stated that she was allegedly paid for the crime in cryptocurrency and that after the attack she was supposed to fly abroad (she already had a ticket from Sochi).
“When asked during questioning whether Margarita Reut regretted her actions (organizing the murder of a Russian Armed Forces officer), Margarita Reut replied ‘no,’” Mash reported.
In addition, Russian media reported that the woman underwent a genetic test and discovered that she is of Russian descent; she wrote that she was “ashamed to be Russian.” Other details of her background include her work at a research laboratory producing vaginal suppositories, according to Mash.
