A well-known American magazine featured the world's top-ranked tennis player from Belarus on the cover of one of its issues. In addition, "Time" published a lengthy article about the tennis player.

In particular, journalists asked Arina Sobolenko about her stance on the war in Ukraine and her support for dictator Lukashenko.

The tennis player replied that she wants peace and does not support the war. “No one supports it,” she said. “It’s so obvious.”
When asked about her support for Lukashenko, Sabalenka replied, “I don’t want to talk about that.”
