The former president of the Russian Federation lashed out with insults.

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation’s Security Council and former president of the aggressor country Dmitry Medvedev has sharply criticized young Russians who oppose Russia’s war against Ukraine. This was reported on August 14 by Dialog.UA on August 14, citing a recent statement by Medvedev.

According to him, some young people allegedly do not realize the consequences of their actions, are subject to outside influence, or are trying to stand out among their peers. He described their anti-war sentiments as the result of “stupidity and lack of awareness.”

Medvedev also called critics of the Russian government people with “twisted minds.” At the same time, he acknowledged the need to intensify so-called “patriotic work” among young people.

According to him, the Russian authorities should make more active use of the examples set by participants in the war against Ukraine to exert ideological influence on the younger generation.
