Lavrov Accused The U.S. Of Carrying Out Strikes On Russian Territory

The Russian Foreign Minister demanded "explanations."

Moscow has information indicating that the United States is directly involved in carrying out strikes on Russian territory. The Kremlin is already awaiting a response from Washington to its questions on this matter.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made this statement, according to RBC-Ukraine reports, citing “Vesti”.

According to Lavrov, Russia does not plan to make the cessation of U.S. support for Kyiv a precondition for negotiations.

“We do not issue ultimatums,” the Russian minister added.

He also confirmed that Moscow had submitted questions to the U.S. State Department regarding arms deliveries, intelligence data, and Washington’s possible involvement in strikes on Russian territory on Ukraine’s behalf, and is now awaiting a response.

In addition, Lavrov warned that Russia would take a tougher stance to “destroy everything that fuels Kyiv’s war machine from the West.”

“We’re already doing this, and they’re already starting to whine. And it’s no coincidence that more and more voices from various parts of our shared space are calling for an immediate halt. That won’t happen,” the Russian foreign minister declared cynically.

Moreover, he added that a ceasefire along the front lines is unacceptable to Russia.
