The model features a premium interior and Rolls-Royce-style doors.

The new Genesis GV90 is being prepared for its debut. Hyundai’s premium electric family crossover will feature a luxurious interior and a powerful powertrain.

The Genesis GV90 electric vehicle will debut before the end of the year, and in the meantime, some of its specifications have been revealed thanks to documents from South Korea’s Ministry of Environment. This was reported by the website Carscoops.

The large Genesis GV90 electric crossover is the premium counterpart to the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and Kia EV9. It is the production version of the 2024 Genesis Neolun concept. The electric vehicle, which is over 5 meters long, will weigh 3,030 kg.

Spy photos confirm that the Genesis GV90 retains the prototype’s design cues—the distinctive “beak” at the front, slim headlights, and even rear doors that open against the direction of travel (like on a Rolls-Royce).

Both 6- and 7-seat versions of the model will be available. The interior of the 2027 Genesis GV90 will be more luxurious, and the trim level will be more extensive than that of other models in this lineup.

Specifications for the top-of-the-line Genesis GV90 variant have now been revealed, featuring an all-wheel-drive powertrain with 657 forces and a battery with a usable capacity of 115 kW·h. The driving range will be 481 km according to the South Korean cycle, which corresponds to approximately 580 km according to the WLTP cycle.
