A Minsk Resident Paid For A Student's Pass For All Forms Of Public Transportation Without Even Realizing It

A student from a university in Gomel came to Minsk to visit.
A criminal case has been opened against a student who paid for her purchases using someone else’s bank card, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A 68-year-old resident of the capital received a text message from his bank notifying him of payments for purchases he did not make. Upon checking his wallet, the man noticed that his bank card was missing.
Investigators determined that the man had left the card at a kiosk while paying for a bus ticket. A student from a university in Gomel, who had come to Minsk to visit, noticed it and took it for herself.
Using someone else’s money, she purchased a monthly pass for all forms of public transportation and also went to a grocery store. She spent 100 rubles and threw the card away.
A criminal case was opened against the young woman for theft of property through the manipulation of computer data.
