Moscow and the surrounding regions saw huge lines form for gasoline.

A second wave of the fuel crisis is building in Russia. Regions are once again implementing the “even-odd” system and imposing limits on gasoline sales. The government acknowledges that the situation with fuel supplies to gas stations remains tense in a number of Russian regions. Moreover, the causes of this new crisis are roughly the same as those in the summer: problems with oil refining and disruptions at Russian refineries.

The crisis has hit Moscow particularly hard.

A Telegram channel ASTRA is posting videos of massive lines.

“This is happening in Russia for the first time,” eyewitnesses say in the video.

It should be noted that Ukraine struck nearly a third of Russia’s major oil refineries in just two weeks.
