NYT: The Ukrainian Armed Forces Have Gained A New Advantage Over The Russian Army

Over the past year, the situation has improved.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces now receive high-tech satellite imagery very quickly, which has made drone strikes against Russian occupiers more effective. This is reported in a new article by The New York Times.
NYT journalists noted that a year ago, Ukrainian Armed Forces units on the front lines were able to receive satellite information about the movements and locations of Russian occupiers, military equipment, and weapons and ammunition depots, and command posts—with a delay of several days. As a result, the satellite images became outdated and useless.
But over the past year, the situation has improved. Now, Ukrainian units on the front lines receive high-tech satellite images in near real time. This has made Ukrainian UAV strikes even more effective than before.
As an example, the NYT described a device developed by the Dutch company Bravo1Alpha. Images are transmitted to a device that resembles a children’s game console, allowing Ukrainian drone pilots to conduct reconnaissance, detect targets, plot flight paths, and engage the enemy.
To strike the enemy, Ukrainian drone pilots need approval from their commanders, which reduces the risk of error. But this process has now been significantly simplified.
NYT reporters noted that UAVs, as well as land- and sea-based drones, are now the most effective way to eliminate enemy personnel.
