Russia Launched A Missile Strike On The Pechenegs: 10 People Were Killed

Russian forces launched a missile strike on the village of Pechenegi in the Kharkiv region, resulting in deaths and injuries, according to unian.net.
According to the latest information from the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Sinehubov, the number of injured has risen to 17, while the death toll remains unchanged at ten.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the strike on Pechenegi occurred around 8:40 a.m. Preliminary reports indicate that the enemy used two small “Banderole” cruise missiles.
A pretrial investigation has been opened into the attack under the article on war crimes resulting in loss of life (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The head of the Pechenizh community Oleksandr Gusarov told the publication “Suspilne” that the strikes hit the central part of the village, where cafes, the post office, and stores are located. One of the strikes hit a café directly; all the strikes landed within a radius of about 50 meters from one another.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised to retaliate against the Russians for the barbaric attack.
“All the circumstances of this tragedy are being investigated. We will definitely respond to this Russian attack. And it is equally important that our partners also complement our just kinetic responses with their own steps to put pressure on Russia and support Ukraine,” Zelenskyy added.
