Epidemiologists have discovered dangerous products at school fairs in Belarus. Details are reported by the Telegram channel of the "Grodno" television and radio company.
Specialists from the Grodno Regional Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology, and Public Health inspected school fairs ahead of the start of the new school year. Backpacks and toys with formaldehyde levels exceeding the limit were found for sale, as well as clothing (a children’s shirt) with poor breathability.
Laboratory tests at the center revealed that the formaldehyde level in the modeling clay was 2.8 times the limit, and in an educational alphabet toy, it was 3.3 times the limit.
All hazardous products were removed from sale.
