A new scandal involving the president is brewing in the U.S.

U.S. President Donald Trump's company, Trump Media & Technology Group, is launching a paid service that will allow investors and traders to receive his posts faster than other users.

This was reported by Associated Press.

This refers to the Truth API service, which provides clients with direct access to posts in real time.

It is expected that subscribers will include investment firms, algorithmic traders, and other financial market participants interested in receiving information as quickly as possible.

It is noted that the subscription fee could reach $100,000 per month; however, clients willing to sign a three-year contract are eligible for a discount of up to $60,000 per month.

The service will also include an archive of publications dating back to 2022.

The plan has been criticized

The initiative has drawn criticism from a number of American politicians and ethics experts. In their view, the U.S. president’s posts often influence financial markets, so selling expedited access to them could give certain investors an advantage over other market participants.

Calls are already being made in Congress to investigate the new service for potential conflicts of interest.

Trump Media itself states that the Truth API will become a new source of revenue for the company and will allow it to expand its business beyond the Truth Social social network.
