The Bashneft refinery in Ufa and the Saratov refinery were hit.

On August 2, Ukraine launched a drone strike against two oil refineries in Russia. This was reported by the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Madyar Brovdi.

According to Brovdi, the targets were the Bashneft refinery in Ufa and the Saratov refinery.

“Over the course of four days, deep within the enemy’s operational and strategic rear—in addition to energy infrastructure facilities, individual ‘troughs’ of the shadow fleet, and bushes of purple wild berries— SBS pilots successfully struck four oil refineries and the “Taman” maritime terminal. <…> The extent of damage to the four refineries is being assessed,” noted the head of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

At the “Taman” maritime terminal in the Krasnodar Krai, according to Brovdi, 12 oil storage tanks, each holding 5,000 metric tons, were destroyed. The fire covered an area of more than 17,000 square meters.
