And he urged them not to repeat his mistake.
The Ukrainian military captured an occupier who turned out to be from Zaporizhzhia. He admitted that he had gone to fight for the Russians for money, but now realizes that it was a mistake.
A video of the traitor’s confession was released by the 19th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The traitor said that almost immediately after signing a contract with the Russians, he found himself at war against Ukraine.
According to him, money was his main motivation for joining the Russian army. However, once he arrived at the front, he realized just how wrong his decision had been.
He urged those considering signing a contract with the Russian army not to repeat his mistake.
He noted that he had been deceived, since he was initially promised that he would be involved in building bunkers, but then he was handed an assault rifle and sent to the front lines.
“Just as I was deceived, so too can many others be deceived,” said the traitor.
He added that he had encountered a young occupier at the front lines carrying the Russian tricolor, who had been promised the title of Hero of Russia for erecting it in Konstantinovka.
The traitor also said that the Russians are conscripting men aged 19 to 60, even bringing in drug addicts and people with disabilities.
“Most likely, they’re short on manpower,” the traitor speculated.
